If GTM disconnects, deployment and validation actions can be blocked.
Symptoms
- "GTM Authorization Required" banner appears.
- Deploy action fails with auth-related errors.
- Token refresh errors (for example
invalid_grant).
Recovery steps
- Reconnect GTM from the workspace integration controls.
- Ensure the correct Google account has GTM access.
- Confirm required GTM OAuth scopes are granted.
- Retry deployment after reconnection.
If this continues, share the workspace ID and the exact error text with support.
